Rolls-Royce receives $183 Million service contract for US Army Kiowa Warrior engines

logo_rolls-royceRolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has received a contract valued at US$183 Million to service M250 engines, which power the US Army’s fleet of OH-58D Kiowa Warrior scout helicopters.

The contract, to support 500 M250 engines on more than 300 aircraft, begins in July 2012 for a year, and the Army has options to extend the contract for four additional years.
