Sikorsky Aerospace Services Announces Agreement with Harrods Aviation to Install Aircraft Modification Kits for S-76®

logo_sikorsky_asSikorsky Aerospace Services announced today the signing of an agreement authorizing Harrods Aviation to install modification kits on Sikorsky S-76® helicopters in Europe. Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) is the aftermarket division of Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

“Sikorsky continues to increase its global presence, and we welcome opportunities to expand our regional aftermarket support with a quality aviation specialist like Harrods Aviation. SkyBOOKS to Host User Training Prior to NBAA

Aspen Avionics’ EA100 Adapter Available as Evolution System Upgrade

The EA100 provides a digital-to-analog data conversion between the EFD1000 and an aircraft’s attitude-based autopilot system. The adapter enables the Evolution Flight Display’s AHRS to provide accurate and reliable attitude information directly to the autopilot. Aspen customers now have the option to remove aging (and expensive) legacy attitude mechanical gyros when they install Evolution Flight Display Systems.

FreeFlight Systems RA-4000 and RA-4500 radar altimeter receives EASA ETSO approval

logo_freeflight_systemsFreeFlight Systems, a global provider of high quality navigation management systems, radar altimeters and other critical avionics, announces the RA-4000 and RA-4500 radar altimeters received ETSO-C287 from EASA last week.

The RA-4000 and RA-4500 Radar Altimeters, consisting of a remote unit and dual antennas, provide AGL information from 2500 feet down to ground level. Both radar altimeters can interface to the stand-alone digital display, FreeFlight Systems RAD-40.

Heli-One Norway Delivers ISAF Project
